Project 365

Good Monday morning to everyone!  I hope everyone had a fantastic, weekend.  I know the mister and I did.  We got lots of things on our to-do list accomplished, which always makes you feel better, knowing you got something done.

40/365  Dexter chillin' in the bathroom sink. I can't say I recall him ever doing this before, so I'm not sure why he started now?

41/365  My first pen pal letter received!  What a great way to brighten any day!  Thanks Courtney!

42/365 Tea time for two! Caramel Vanilla Truffle - it smells sooo amazing. Its almost sinful.

43/365 Apparently we have a new watering hole in our apartment.

44/365 Dinner at Freddy's Friday night.  Have I ever expressed how much I love their cheese fries?!

45/365 Yes that is SNOW people!  IN TEXAS!  I love it! I think I was a little more excited about this than when I got to go to Disney World - well maybe a tie?!

46/365 The mister and I got some new placemats for our table - and of course they had to match the candlesticks I got for Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by!

Project 365

Welcome to 2011 my loves! This week of pictures for Project 365 was the ending of one year and beginning of another. I still can't believe its 2011 ALREADY.

33/365 The mister and I were finally able to find him a casual coat/jacket. Thank goodness!

34/365 The Pen Pal Project is in full swing and the first round of mailings went out.

35/365 The calm before the storm.  Making my way to the highway from work.

36/365  One of my antique cups and saucers.  My dad found this one in Louisiana for me. ♥

37/365 I made cupcakes for the New Year's Eve get together at my parent's house.  Chocolate with blue vanilla frosting and confetti sprinkles! Yumm!

38/365 New Year's Day always consists of a bowl of black-eyed peas & other wonderful veggies.  Fried squash is one of my absolute favorites, especially when its a little burnt!

39/365  We got the bridesmaids' dresses picked out and purchased.  Another thing of the list off to-dos for the wedding.

What all did you get accomplished during your last week of 2010 and first week of 2011?

Project 365

Before I post pictures for Project 365, I want to say, I hope everyone had a SPLENDID Christmas holiday and got everything (or most everything) you asked for and created wonderful memories with loved ones.

26/365 All the goodies I made for work during the Cook-A-Palooza

27/365 One of the many wonderful gifts Damon got me - now I can complete one of my Bucket List items - Beef Bourguignon

28/365 Main Street on Christmas - this is one of my favorite stores to pass - its always decorated for the season

29/365 Lately, Dexter loves hiding in the washing machine.  Children I tell you.

30/365 Packing up all the goodies to travel to all our families' houses.

31/365 Emilee was definitely treated well this Christmas.

32/365  Amanda and Garrett gave me a gift card to Macy's.  New plates! Yay!  Thanks Guys!

What did y'all get for Christmas??

Project 365

This week's Project 365 begins with the starting of all our Christmas parties, get togethers, etc, so you might be a bit Christmases out by the end of this.

19/365 Our stuff from Soap Addict arrived Monday - that box smelt sooooooo amazing!

20/365 My office received this 5lb. Hersey's bar from one of our carriers.  Can you believe this bar holds 12,000 calories - nothing like a guilt trip.

21/365 The Mister got me a pair of jeans from American Eagle for Christmas but told me I could have them when they arrived.. Lucky for me they came early :)

22/365  I thought maybe our "Let it Snow" rug would bring Texas a little luck.

23/365  From part of the Cook-a-palooza, the Cherry Danish for Damon's dad's Christmas get together.

24/365  Saturday we went to Sundance to see Santa Claus (aka my uncle.)  Too bad we were ONE minute late and the Santa Claus nazis (his bodyguards) wouldnt let us near him.

25/365 The Mister and I decided to do Christmas with the neice and nephew on Sunday - that way we wouldnt have to haul so much on Christmas day...

I hope everyone had an amazing week last week - only 5 days until Christmas!

Project 365

Week 3 of Project 365 is behind me now and I'm toting right along with taking my daily snapshots about the goings of our lives.

12/365 Sunsets on the way home from work have been absolutely beautiful the last couple of weeks.  They have been a good distraction from all the horrible drivers out there.

13/365 For the last couple of weeks, well since Sons of Anarchy finished up, not a whole lot has been on Tuesday nights.  The solution?? Guitar Hero!

14/365 Its beginning to feel ALOT like FedEx Kinko's in my office.  Shipping holiday wishes to those all over the world.

15/365  Poor Baby Cat can not resist the tree.  We have actually caught her IN the tree.

16/365  Only in the South, can you find cups of SWEET tea this BIG!! The stuffed potatoes here are amazing too!

17/365 The beautiful jewely the wonderful Mister bought me for our anniversary..  What did I get him you ask?  Cabella's Big Game Hunter   Dangerous Hunts  for PS3.  Yea we've been hunting all weekend. :)

18/365 We had Damon's dad and Becky (his dad's girlfriend) over for yummy food, hunting on the PS3 and hanging out Sunday afternoon.

What all did you get accomplished or do last week?

Project 365

This past week was the second week of Project 365, but the first week I managed to take a picture every day. Lots and lots of Christmas, but I don't complain - I love Christmas and hope you do too!

5/365 The tree is up, decorated and ready for Christmas to arrive.  This year the "G" was added to the tree to represent our wedding next April.

6/365 It's easy for us to cave and just eat out during the week - always beats having to cook and clean.

7/365  The leaves are finally gathering on walkways, which means Christmas can't be too far away

8/365 Sugar cookies with fun Christmas tree sprinkes baking in the oven

9/365 A quick trip to the grocery to fill up the pantry with yummy eats and treats

10/365  Christmas on Main Street - We are known as the Christmas Capital of Texas for a reason

11/365 Spent the weekend being lazy and wrapping Christmas presents for loved ones - ALMOST done!

WHAT DID YOU DO LAST WEEK??

Project 365

So I have decided I'm not very good at this Project 365 thing - maybe its because I was on vacation last week, and not motivated to take a single picture, I'm not sure...  but I can tell you this I have 4 pictures taken of what should be 12.  Meh I suck - but I will pick up the pace..  Now that I'm back into the regular routine of work, nights with my love and simple weekends, this should be easier to maintain.  And who says I can't be a little slacking in the photo department every now and again.

Here's to the first semi-week of picture taking!

1/365 Homeade tostadas are one of Damon and I's favorite meals - and what better way to start a picture project than with a picture of your favorite meal?

2/365 Getting all my work done before I can go on my Thanksgiving vacation - containers always on the move.  Japan and China specfically always have major freight moving.

3/365 The out of office message - nothing better than being able to put this up on a Friday afternoon.

4/365 Damon and I at ICE!   It was sooooooo cold - but then in Texas a nice chill is always welcome.   I will do a full post on ICE! here soon.

Til then, Cheers!

Project 365

Here lately I have found myself stubbling over so many interesting blogs, with so many lovely photos of places in the world I would love to one day visit, things I wish America - well Texas anyway could appreciate, and amazing amounts of food.  Oy vey!   Red-Boots & Recent Treats have both been taking part in this project, and after doing a quick search about the popularity of this project on Bing, I realized its more popular and common than I thought. - they call it Project 365.  EVERYDAY no matter what - you have a picture of something.  Pictures are posted week by week, until you find yourself with a history of sorts over the past 365 days capturing all that life holds in the cutest little snapshots a camera can possibly take..

So I told myself while my latest browsing of weekly photos, "hey! this is an awesome project!" So here I am - committing to something else. Making all these resolutions and goals for myself and it is not even New Years yet.  Hopefully, I can commit to it, capturing all that life has to hold every day.

Wish me luck!
CHEERS!
