dairy queen owed me a blizzard...

outside my office window

God blessed us (DFW, Texas) with seven inches of snow last night.  Pretty amazing if you ask me.  It's the nice light and fluffy stuff that you only see in pictures or movies.   I wish I was able to stay home and enjoy this landscape, but I made my way in finally.  The commute was long and forever going, but extremely beautiful..

I hope everyone is having a warm Friday morning so far.  If you have snow pictures I would love to see them!

Happy Friday friends! ♥

its an ice-pocalypse!

brrrr!

This is what DFW, Texas looks like this morning! Brrr is all I can say.  I braved the snow, ice, sleet & below freezing temps and carpooled it this morning with a co-worker so I could make it to work.

Yes folks, that how dedicated I am!  LOL.  Hopefully we get an early release, because its only supposed to get worse through the day.  Temperatures aren't supposed to reach above freezing until Friday, so the next few days will be extremely interesting around the metroplex with the Super Bowl and all taking place this week.

I hope all my local DFW blog friends stay warm & safe!  I will post more pictures later of the craziness down south.

snow & a nice surprise ♥

This is what I was walking out to this morning.  We might get a little more today - I'm hopeful.  I love this stuff.  Yesterday was even better.

Yep thats a white roof and snow falling!  I was giddy all day, hoping maybe we would see mass accumlation like last year.  But no such luck..  We can hope right.

And now for that nice surprise.   I'm still ironing out the details with the sponsor, but my very FIRST giveaway will be happening soon!  I can't wait - I hope you love her work as much as I do.  When everything is ready to go, with links and all, I will be posting that information.

Stay tuned my blogger friends!

“Kindness is like snow - it beautifies everything it covers”

-author unknown

If we could just get a nice little chill in the air and maybe SOME fluffy snow it would really start to feel like Christmas in Texas!

Santa are you listening??
