see how i tired i am? putting us behind a day and all.

anyway, there are three awesome ladies, who are hosting this super rocking package swap.

11 Facts About Me

1. Husband I met on match.com - so we are one of those silly testimonials.  I'm still waiting on my commercial contract.

2. When I traveled to NYC, I sat second row Mamma Mia! on broadway.  It was amazing.  I love NYC and everything about it. Slightly obsessed, and cant wait to go back someday.

3. I watch way too much trashy reality tv.  seriously. ask the husband.. he will vouch for me.

4. I find any excuse to bake something, particularly cupcakes, with sprinkes of course.  (above was voting day, so we had "red" cupcakes and "blue" cupcakes!)

5. one of my absolute favorite things to do, is pack a picnic, head to a pretty garden in the area and dine.  nothing better. my pasta salad is pretty awesome!

6. Christmas is my most favorite time of year. again, ask husband.  i will find any excuse to decorate early.

7.  I'm sort of a computer nerd. and I'm not ashamed.

8. Texas Rangers Baseball is the best team ever! I even converted husband to a baseball fan. Its that good!

9. I love me a good museum.  (above - Pacific War Museum in Fredricksburg, TX)

10. I have a neice (almost 4) and nephew (7). They might as well be my own; I cant ever go that long without seeing them.

11.  I would rather starve than eat onions. Seriously, if its in there and I can see it, forget it, I'm not eating it.

1. What's your worst habit?

My worst habit would be biting my nails or chewing on the end on pens.  So bad I know. I need to stop. And quick.

2. What do you consider your best characteristic?
Errr. I'm really outgoing.  For the most part, I will try anything once (outside of illegal activity.) and I'm extremely spontaneous.  If I get the urge, I will do it. 


3. If you could do any job what would it be?
I would own my own Bakery. In a heartbeat.  I love baking and filling others' tummies with yumminess.  And I want my bakery to resemble that of the one in the movie "The Perfect Man" with Hilary Duff, Heather Locklear & Mr. Big. LOL


4. What's your favorite shop on Etsy?
Umm. Mine? LOL


5. Name three of your favorite blogs...

It would of Taza of Rockstar Diaries, because her cute little family is always on the go doing something fun and exciting.  And she has this amazing sense of style that I would love to have & she can rock some red lipstick.

Um duh, Ryan Gosling.


9. What's your absolute favorite movie?
Steel Magnolias. I always hope somehow the ending will change. But it has laughter, romance, drama, everything in one movie.  Plus who doesnt like Ouiser.


10. If you could choose one blog conference/event to go to, money no object which would it be?
I would love to go to a blogger blitz up north in either Boston, DC or NYC


11. What would you eat for your last meal??
Yikes. Um. Well being as I'm in Texas, we dont get a choice anymore, but if I had to pick, it would be my moms homeade tacos, with all the fixings, rice, beans, chips, salsa, avocado dip & for dessert either german chocolate cake or red velvet with cream cheese frosting.  Yum Yum! Oh with a nice big glass of sweet tea..

Starting off on this blog, now as a married lady, some aspects of my life have changed some and others have changed, so I figured why not play along!

B. Bed size: queen - which i'm very content with.. it allows extra snuggling when it gets chilly outside.
 C. Chore that you hate: laundry.. well just folding it.  i wish it would just fold itself.
 D. Dogs: no puppies... apartments and puppies = no bueno if you ask me.
 E. Essential start to your day: coffee or something with caffiene in it. and kissing the mister goodbye too.
 F. Favorite color: hmmm i love all colors, minus yellow and orange... but foam green & pink, red are totally my favorite right now...
 G. Gold or Silver: silver all the way.  gold washes me out.

 Y. Yummy food that you make: you name it and i want it, i will try and cook it. i'm not scared.  you never know what you will surprise yourself with. :)
 Z. Zoo animal: i ♥ all zoo animals, minus snakes... so its sooo hard to choose.

i never said i was normal

I try to post everyday during the week (except weekends, unless I'm near a computer somewhere since we dont have one at home.)  This morning I was totally befuddled on what to blog about so I started thinking.  Thinking sometimes gets me alot further than where I need to be, but I decided it was time to really share some "facts" about me.  I've had this blog for a few years, but only recently did I really get into the HEART of blogging, yet I haven't really shared much about myself and my life since that wonderful day back in 1984. So here goes.... 

1. i heart the color pink! 

2. my favorite movies are the girly, laugh, cry, laugh some more, use a whole box of kleenx type.
3. i hate being home alone especially when its dark out.. too many criminal mind episodes.
4. before the mister i was unorganized - thanks to him OCD taketh over my life somedays.
5. i believe in God and all that's up there - but i don't care too much for the church.
6. antique shopping is something i will never pass down.
7. i love snail mail, even though i'm horrible about getting around to sending it to people. 
8. i'm an old soul, stuck in a young body.
9. the apple really doesn't fall from the tree - ask my parents. 
10. i'm left handed.
11. i played viola for a few years in elementary school, sang in the school choir some in junior high.  now i just play guitar hero and sing loudly and out of tune.
12. i choose busy, busy rather than being bored out of my mind.
13. i went to A&M in Corpus Christi for a few years and totally hated it.
14. i wish i would have gone to culinary/pastry school instead.
15. for once in my life, my hair is long.  like super, shock people who know me well long.
16. i'm a tv junkie.. like hardcore.  i can watch my favorites over again and never get bored.
17.  i love new york city..sometimes too much..
18. i can say i dont have friends.. i have family...
19. i feel naked without putting on my eyebrows and mascara every morning..
20. i'm terrified of needles, but pnemonia and bronchitis helped me get over them some.
21. i have never ridden a horse and i live in Texas.
22. i would love to learn how to knit and crochet correctly.
23. i drive bruce... he's my honda civic.
24. i love flamingos!
25. i worked in mexico for two summers... i will never go back.
26. i met the man of my dreams on match.com
27. we are getting married april 30, 2011.
28. i hated math in school, was terribly at it.  now i do reports with numbers as part of my job.

34. i grew up only having one grandfather.

38. i get motion sickness when riding in the back seat for long periods of time.

42. i couldnt be a hunter...killing animals just isnt in me.
43. when i buy meat at the grocery store - i feel better if i tell myself they grow it there and nothing had to die for me to have food..

47. i would love to adopt a child some day.
48. i have worked in a soup kitchen. i loved it.
