yes i made up revampanation. it just felt appropriate.  now that i'm back to blogging full time (well minus this last week, my computer was giving me fits), i felt it was only appropriate to give it a little facelift along with updating the sidebar with bringing back the sponsor opportunity.

its january 18 + a winner

so its been a couple of days since i have posted anything.  my brain has been so tired from all this allergy mess, that i couldnt come up with a darn thing to blog about. nothing was really grabbing my attention. so i just let my little blog take a rest until today.  we have a winner from the jandmseyecandy giveaway and i figured i would just do a little update post.

first updates.  the shop is moving right along.  i actually just got my first custom order a few days ago & i love custom orders. they make me smile - mainly because people are trusting me to make their special day extra perfect. thats what i've been working on this week, plus playing around with a couple of card ideas to put in the shop. trying to perfect the outcome, so it might be this weekend before they go up.  

also i'm waiting to hear back from heartsy on a submission i put a few weeks ago. it would be a huge opportunity to get my name out there, but if i get accepted, its going to be lots and lots of long hours and late nights working to get myself ready for my feature.  hopefully i get selected - i will keep you posted on this.

i dont know if i have told any of the blog world, but i'm a magazine phene.  when standing in line at the grocery store, i browse all the options, from hollywood gossip to food to far out stories in the national enquirer.

but out of all the magazines, i think real simple is my favorite.  by far.  it has a little bit of everything. well except hollywood gossip. but that category is whole magazines on their own.  it has recipes. home organization tips. money management. craft ideas. real life stories. remedies. produce of the month. etc.  i pick it up pretty much every month.  and love thumbing through it getting ideas and taking in the wealth of knowledge that it has to offer. i finally decided to save myself the hassle and subscribe to the magazine.

spooktacular work party 2K11

1 - 2 - 3

the ladies i work with and i are always finding a reason to bring food to work. sometimes we just call it the monthly "snack day." other times we conveniently find a fun holiday to use as our excuse. and halloween is no exception.

here are some of the snack that we made this year.  1 & 3 are items i contributed and that brew is mighty tasty.  i'm not a big fan of boiled eggs, so the husband was very excited when i had a few not so perfect boiled eggs that he got to enjoy last night.

i must say all the food including blood sauce, swamp slime, crunchy skin, eye balls in sauce, & dragon claws were a huge hit among everyone. anyone want to guess which items were which?  we also had a few pumpkin treats which were welcomed with open arms.

i hope everyone is having a very spooktacular monday full of spooks, treats and fun!  i cant wait to see all your post halloween posts about what you wore, who you spooked and more.
